Position Summary:
The Sr. Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a strategic business partner to the BU finance leads that adds value by developing actionable data analytics and reporting for the Conair business units.
Reporting to the VP of FP&A, this role is responsible to report accurate, timely, and relevant KPIs, measurements, forecasts, plans, and analysis to enable the business units to make informed decisions. This role will work cross-functionally with accounting, IT, and BU finance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the budgeting and forecast processes for the all business units
- Support monthly reporting cycle and performance management process
- Assist in preparing materials for monthly operating reviews and quarterly board meetings related to the business units in the Americas
- Identifying risks & opportunities
- Enhance and upgrade financial budgeting tool and dashboard reports
- Support business teams with KPI tracking and critical business decisions
- Actively identifies ways to eliminate non-value work and leverages automation whenever possible
- Fully leverages available technology and drives the organization to embrace new technologies as they become relevant (i.e. advanced analytics, data visualization, process automation, data warehousing, etc.)
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
- Follow internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.
- Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of corporate finance experience, including experience working in an FP&A function
- Team player and experience leading a small team.
- Superb analytical/quantitative and communication skills and strong executive presence.
- Strong Excel skills and technical skills are required
- Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrates thought leadership and manages relationships with business partners.

- Experience implementing Enterprise Planning System
- Experience working in SAP
Environmental Factors:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (10% if needed)
- Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
- We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time.
