Description

ASUS is looking for an energetic, hard-working and creative marketer to manage our gaming and content brand/community team. Your key management responsibilities include growing and fostering the Republic of Gamers and ASUS brand through our loyalty programs, community gaming/content creator partnerships, collegiate/university strategic partnerships and key opinion leaders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely and collaborates with product marketing to create and execute marketing campaigns focused on engagement, creating advocates and increasing awareness for ROG and ASUS branded products.
  • Shape and communicate our vision and mission
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies to support product/channel marketing initiatives
  • Manage a team of skilled marketing people working on brand/community initiatives
  • Leads creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
  • Oversee new and ongoing brand/community activities
  • Devise innovative growth strategies for user communities
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics with product marketing and other internal organizations as needed
  • Works closely with industry partners to engage the user community through activations ensuring ASUS/ROG voice share is maintained and industry leading
  • Ability to build marketing moments around community activations that emphasize the Republic of Gamers and ASUS brands
  • Understand ASUS/ROG brand position within the market and build a winning strategy to increase brand presence and return on investment
  • Measure and report performance of all brand campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs along with recommendations for improvement based on key learnings
  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
  • Monitor consumer reactions to campaigns/activities
     

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education

  • 4-year degree in Communications or related field with work experience.


Work Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years management experience in tech environment
  • Experience with working in a team environment and interacting with all levels of management
  • Extensive experience with partnership building
  • Extensive experience with key opinion leaders
  • Very effective use of social media marketing tools to create and maintain a brand

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Very solid understanding of community building, brand lift and general knowledge of the PC industry preferred
  • Creative, diplomatic, and calm under pressure with great interpersonal skills
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Well organized and able to multi-task efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to effectively communicate your ideas
  • Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with large brands, key opinion leaders and media outlets. 

Working Conditions:

  • Office Only: Typically works in an office environment
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
  • 15% travel domestically & internationally
