Job Description Overview:     

This is a full function Accountant position of our subsidiaries in the US. which includes AP, AR, FA, Cost, GL, tax, and analysis.  With our solid training materials and mentor program, this role is expected to take over the full set of accounting processes step by step from expense application to income tax filing.  During the learning process, they may involve the transactions of the other companies under our US controlled group to expand the variety of accounting events.    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:    

  • Work to ensure smooth, accurate flow of inventory and related transactions.
  • Ensure proper valuation of inventory and cost of goods sold through proper allocation of labor and overhead as well as variance analysis.
  • Be the gate keeper of inventory control, make sure it’s reconciled in different systems and improve the process.
  • Process payment requests efficiently and effectively with knowledge of accounting principles, tax law and internal control policies.
  • Manage vendor master.
  • Maintain fixed asset related information and transactions according to property tax purpose.
  • Calculate income tax including but not limited to monthly accrual, quarterly estimated payment and annual return and review all documents from tax consultant.
  • Conducts month end closing tasks which includes but not limited to bank reconciliation, costing, expense accrual, bad debt and inventory evaluation and financial package for consolidated purpose.
  • Fulfill request of external quarterly review and annual audit.
  • Analyze financial results and propose improvement of business operation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:     

  • Must be proficient with MS Excel, intermediate skills of Power Point, Word, & outlook
  • Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin

Required Qualification:     

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3~5 years accounting or tax related experience preferably in hardware manufacturing industry or CPA firm
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Sensitive to numbers
  • Self-driven, teamwork, enthusiasm and positive attitude
  • High quality of work and strong intention to improve
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:     

  • Office Only: Typically works in an office environment, able to work overtime at request

$70,000 - $100,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office.

$67,000 - $85,000 annual is the estimated pay range for this role working in City of Industry, California office.

It does not include bonuses, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D insurance, Paid Time Off, EAP, & 401(k). The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
