Service Development Specialist

Job Description Overview:

The Service Development Specialist shall be responsible for playing a supporting role in the development, execution, and performance management of Service Programs. The candidate will be studying trends, analyzing data, highlighting key indicators, setting benchmarks, producing reports, and developing viable service solutions. The scope will involve and require the candidate to perform the following functions: identifying / interviewing stakeholders, coordinating internal / external resources, competitive market research, evaluating alternative solutions, hosting training sessions, and proactively maintaining documentation. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and maintaining service-oriented solutions geared towards key vertical markets, consumer markets, commercial markets, and special assignments
  • Assist with strategizing, planning, creating, enhancing, and implementing new or existing Service oriented solutions
  • Create, update, edit and enhance process maps and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate internal/external reports through gathering, analyzing and summarizing data and information from cross functional departments
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance and efficiency of programs to ensure that implementation is within scope and on target
  • Prepares presentation materials and reports for team level and management level audiences
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality
  • Perform other job duties as assigned
     

Required Qualification:

Years of Education

  • BA/BS in Business, Technology, or Data related fields


Work Experience

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in data science, technical support, or project coordination

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Passion for technology
  • Proactive and able to work well independently as well as in a team environment and cross functional teams
  • Strong ownership and organization skills
  • Strong analysis skills with MS Visio and MS Excel in order to successfully execute projects
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the products, services and support policies in order to be an effective team member
  • Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in Business Management, Data Science, Technical Support, or Project Management

Working Conditions:

  • Typically works in an office environment
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
  • International and Domestic travel up to 10%

 

 
$66,560 - $72,240 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
