Description

The Senior Logistics coordinator will serve as a liaison between internal and external logistics teams and understands the entire logistics process for the business. He or she will create benchmarks and work with internal and external logistics teams to improve the current processes.  This position entails analyzing internal and external data in addition to researching ways to provide solutions for the logistics team. Strong Excel skills along with experience in logistics or data analysis are needed to succeed in this role.                         

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and interpreting data
  • Analyze results
  • Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
  • Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
  • Defining new data collection and analysis processes

Required Qualification:

Years of Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 2 years of experience in logistics
  • Experience working with 3PL companies

Knowledge and Skills

  • Team player and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and confidential information.
  • Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office and web-based applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or Data Analysis
  • Data mining experience
  • Background in consumer technology products and markets
