National Account Manager

The National Account Manager will maintain positive working relationships with customers by implementing new products, marketing programs, problem solving and managing inventory flow. He/she will increase sales opportunities in specific US regions with existing customers as well as expand our business with new accounts. The National Account Manager is responsible for development, implementation and execution of programs to achieve these business goals. ASUS products will include but are not limited to Notebooks, and Desktop.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Sales and Inventory Management:
    • Perform regular sales and inventory analysis
    • Develop a strong working relationship with each account
    • Provide product recommendations to accounts based on their requirements
    • Communicate with the  Product Management team about model feedback
    • Arrange and coordinate schedules and appointments for account executives
  • Brand Ownership:
    • Present new ASUS products to a wide spread audience
    • Coordinate the necessary marketing materials for trade shows
  • Competitive Analysis: 
    • Analyze and compete for selected accounts to drive business growth
    • Data-driven and detail-oriented investigation of market competition
    • Implement competitive strategies to increase sales at selected account
    • Respond quickly to competition and adapt with new strategies
  • Forecast Management
    • Communicate projected forecast to Product Management team
    • Ensure delivery schedule meets customer requests
    • Efficiently communicate to account for any deviations from forecast
    • Manage purchase orders for the account
  • Potentially up to 35% domestic travel

  • 5+ years supporting direct sales, or sales through the distribution channels, or other related IT/PC sales experience.
  • Work experience in sales or account management or retail buyer
