Job Description Overview:

ASUS is looking for an energetic, hard-working and creative marketer to lead our consumer content creation efforts. Your key management responsibilities include growing and fostering the Republic of Gamers and ASUS brand through content creation for the company’s websites and on-line social media channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Works closely and collaborates with product and brand marketing to create and execute content, both written and video that focuses on engagement, creating brand advocates and increasing awareness of ROG and ASUS branded products.
  • Translate brand elements into SEO optimized content pieces to support product/channel marketing initiatives
  • Leads creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
  • Ownership over an editorial calendar, developing content topic strategy, compiling data reports, managing site accounts and writing long-form editorial pieces or creating video shorts.
  • Repurposing content to fit the publishing media, video production or social media needs
  • Devise innovative content for our user communities
  • Deep understanding of the company’s brand voice and ability to communicate it to customers.
  • Ability to build marketing moments through content creation that emphasizes the Republic of Gamers and ASUS brands
  • Measure and report performance of all content pieces, and assess ROI and KPIs along with recommendations for improvement based on key learnings
  • Analyze content positioning using consumer insights to increase engagement and conversion
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
  • Monitor consumer reactions to content pieces
  • Manage a team of freelancers and writers to create new content as needed

Required Qualification:

Years of Education

  • 4-year degree in Communications or related field with experience.


Work Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years marketing experience
  • Experience with working in a team environment and interacting with all levels of management
  • Extensive experience creating content (both written and video)
  • Extensive experience with key opinion leaders
  • Very effective use of social media marketing tools to create, publish and maintain content


 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of digital marketing software, tools, and methods with a focus on content and SEO.
  • Creative, diplomatic, and calm under pressure with great interpersonal skills
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Well organized and able to multi-task efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to effectively communicate your ideas
  • Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with content creation, key opinion leaders and media outlets.
     

Working Conditions:

  • Office Only: Typically works in an office environment
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
