Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
  • Interpret diagnostic results and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Manage chronic cardiovascular diseases, including heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, primary care physicians, and surgeons, to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education on cardiovascular health and disease management.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical conferences.
Clinical Research and Education:
  • Engage in clinical research activities and contribute to the advancement of cardiology.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in cardiovascular medicine.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to medical residents and fellows.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Training: Completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology.
  • Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine preferred. New graduates with exceptional training will be considered.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
