Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with urological conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  • Perform urological procedures and surgeries, including minimally invasive techniques.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests, such as ultrasounds, CT scans, and urodynamic studies.
  • Manage chronic urological conditions, including prostate cancer, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education on self-care and recovery.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, radiologists, and oncologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and procedures.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to optimize patient outcomes.
Clinical Research and Education:
  • Engage in clinical research and contribute to advancements in urological care.
  • Stay current with the latest research, techniques, and advancements in urology.
  • Educate and mentor medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Training: Completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Urology.
  • Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in urology preferred. New graduates with exceptional training will be considered.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong clinical and diagnostic skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in performing Urological procedures and surgeries.
