Reports to: Managing Director, Turnkey and O&M


The Director, Turnkey Project Delivery is responsible to support the execution of CSI’s Turnkey EPC projects globally. The Director will work closely with regional project management teams as well as the central Turnkey Services team to ensure successful completion of CSI’s turnkey projects. Key responsibilities include management of project financial and schedule performance, monitoring and implementing corrective actions where required and providing leadership on contractual disputes. The Director will ensure project status reports are accurate and distributed in a timely manner. The Director will also support and provide leadership for contract management activities such as variation requests, legal and commercial disputes with subcontractors, EPC partners and project owners.


The successful candidate will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:


-          Monitor the performance of projects under construction and take action where necessary

-          Provide guidance and support to regional project teams for contractual and commercial issues

-          Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to find solutions to key project issues

-          Provide leadership and support negotiations on issues that escalate to contractual disputes

-          Monitor, report and take action on project financial performance, including project cost tracking, forecasting and revenue recognition

-          Ensure risk mitigation measures are adequately implemented and followed on all projects

-          Work closely with project team and module order fulfillment to ensure module deliveries are coordinated effectively

-          Ensure all contractual terms are followed and CSI rights are protected in EPC Contract, JV Agreements and subcontracts

-          Ensure Project Management processes are consistent and followed across regions and projects

-          Manage the project reporting system to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of reports

-          Manage EPC performance and lead any dispute processes as necessary

-          Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the business unit


Qualifications and Experience:

     Preference will be given to candidates with the following capabilities:

-          Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline, preference given to post graduate degree in engineering

-          Minimum 10 years’ experience in PV and / or Power Generation industries

-          Minimum 5 years leadership experience

-          Demonstrated track record of completing utility scale PV projects

-          Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively among a broad range of stakeholders

-          Strong negotiating skills

-          Solid and effective interpersonal and communication skills (including oral, written and visual)

-          Strong organizational and time management skills; the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

-          Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Microsoft Projects

-          Accuracy and attention to detail.

-          Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally with staff, management, volunteers, clients, suppliers, community partners and external stakeholders

-          Demonstrated sound judgment and the ability to be decisive in crisis situations

-          Demonstrated independent thinking, initiative and creativity

-          Ability to function successfully both independently and within a team

-          Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct

-          Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends) as required

-          Valid local license, valid insurance and access to a reliable vehicle

-          Travel required up to 50%
