Accounts Payable - Supply Chain Associate

Supply Chain, Purchasing & Procurement Mesquite, TX


Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support operations within Supply Chian department across divisions
  • Abide by performance metrics for Logistics, transportation, shipping and receiving
  • Coordinate import and export shipment, domestic transportation
  • Coordinate with planning, purchasing, forwarders, suppliers and customers, provide data for materials tracking, MRP, supply chain reports
  • Perform all SAP transactions for Supply Chain department
  • Perform Supply Chain financial transactions in SAP, and manage supplier payment
  • Organize and file Supply Chain documents, financial records
  • Prepare Supply Chain reports
  • Perform inventory cycle count, physical counts, prepare inventory report and reconciliation
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Provide administrative support for the warehousing system,
  • Abide by the organizations internal and external policies, including occupational health and safety regulations
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, admin, accounting, or supply-chain management; Importing experience an asset, knowledge of Customs and trade compliance an asset
  
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skill
  • Attention to detail, with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key external stakeholders
  • Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation management
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work individually as well as on a team
  • Accounts Payable experience an asset
  • Chinese or Spanish an Asset
