Our Walnut Creek, CA office is conveniently located near public transportation (Pleasant Hill BART), is ideally situated for bicycle commuters, there's plenty of free parking, and an abundance of eateries in the surrounding area. The office includes tasty drinks, healthy snacks and catered lunches two days per week. Hybrid office hours available with flexibility to work from home 1 day per week.     
     
Position Summary:     
     
We are searching for our first ever Sales Analyst and PowerPoint extraordinaire to join our Global Sales team. In this role, you will support the Global Sales and Business Development activities of the Module Systems Solutions group of Canadian Solar through the creation of engaging customer-facing sales presentations. This person will attend critical sales meetings with senior executives, listen and collect complex details, and then take all that they’ve learned and transform it into informational and bright, engaging PowerPoint presentations. You'll have an opportunity to unite our various regions by streamlining our internal and external presentations and helping to tell a story through the data you collect from around the globe.     
     
This person will build and own all of our sales presentation templates, an expert in creating both templated and customized decks for all of our global regions. We want our branding materials to look better then the rest! You will collaborate closely with our Marketing, Product and Sales teams to help them achieve their goals which requires stellar communication and desire to partner with others. In addition to customer facing materials, you’ll play a critical role in updating our internal business plans and sales strategy presentations which are leveraged by senior executives globally to make informed decisions.     
     
Responsibilities Include:     
  • Increase effectiveness of Sales Teams across the Globe by creating/updating customer facing PowerPoint presentations and polishing the appearance of our marketing materials
  • Create comparison guides for various products that can be used during the sales cycle, clearly setting our products apart from our competitors
  • Produce engaging materials using PowerPoint, Excel, graphs/charts and other visualization tools to communicate business strategies to various levels of the global organization.
  • Provide business development data analysis to clearly define needs/hurdles and address commercial opportunities/deficiencies in markets.
  • Attend various sales meetings and stay apprised of the challenges we need to solve for to ensure messaging in these presentations is on target and consistent
Requirements:     
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Design, or related field
  • 3 + years PowerPoint presentation creation for Revenue Teams
  • Ability to distill complex info into graphics that tell a story
  • Advanced PowerPoint design skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with global C-Suite
Preferred Qualifications:     
  • Renewable Energy industry is a plus!
  • MBA or Masters Degree is a plus!
  • Experience using PowerBI and/or Tableau for data analysis
  • Adaptable to change and excited by quickly evolving pace
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing requirements.
  • In addition to English, Fluent in written and spoken Chinese or Spanish
     
Compensation and Benefits:     
Canadian Solar offers a competitive salary plus fully comprehensive benefits and performance bonus package based on an annual objective achievement. Our generous benefits package includes a 401(k) Retirement Plan, medical/dental/life/disability program, PTO and sick days. This is a full time position.     
     
The pay range for this position is $90,000 – $105,000 This range represents annual base salary only, without regard to location, and does not include bonuses or incentives that pay quarterly or benefits that may apply. The pay range for this role is subject to change.
