This is a position on the Red Fuse agency team for our global Consumer Package Goods (CPG) client. The agency is fully-integrated, with team members assigned to multiple marketing disciplines (consumer advertising, shopper marketing, eCommerce, media, public relations, etc.). Everyone works together, enabling speed, efficiency, and connectivity. The team is responsible for Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) across numerous CPG brands. The agency is global in nature, with offices spread throughout the world. Thus, the agency’s work for the client runs in over 200 countries.

Our Copywriter has a passion for pets. They will bring with them a “find a way to get it done” attitude. On the front lines of the work being tasked to our creative teams, they collaborate with Art Directors and other creatives to brainstorm, craft language, and develop concepts and executions that not only solve client problems but surprise and delight their peers and award show judges.

Required Skills

  • A clear command of the English language (grammar, spelling and vocabulary)
  • Ability to create concepts and copy that deliver on creative briefs and align to business goals as well as adapt ideas to different media across touch points including, specifically, the digital landscape
  • Solid client presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate how the work addresses client problems and meets the requirements set forth in a creative brief
  • Able to help showcase work for agency-related communication as well as awards materials
  • Willing and able to help with occasional new opportunities across the larger roster of Colgate-Palmolive brands 
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Required Experience

  • Background that provides a solid understanding of marketing, advertising and technology
  • Portfolio school or a bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, journalism,

marketing or related field strongly preferred

  • At least 1-5 years of experience in advertising or marketing
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic advertising and digital best practices
