Where you shine
The Supervisor Client Engagement oversees agency services on accounts. Client Engagement Supervisors manage the guidance, growth and development of client engagement team personnel, which includes providing training, and performance evaluations.Â
Externally, the Supervisor Client Engagement develops a close relationship with senior-level client contacts, establishing VMLY&R as leaders on the business, achieving clients' marketing goals, and managing income results for the agency.Â
What your success will look like
- Supervisor Client Engagement must be active proponents of all client partnerships within the agency, and lead any external teams.
- Leadership is rooted in strategic partnership with a focus on absolute understanding of our client's business. They are the core contact for all partner relationships and daily client activities and promote the vision and value of all agency attributes and points of differentiation.
- Financial responsibilities include monthly billing, forecasting and updating clients on monthly billing and expenses.
- Collaboratively responsible for development of long-term account success and growth by participating in Client Engagement Plan development and execution.
- Gain and maintain experience of client's business, industry and competition.
- Guide execution and measurement of final plan, ensuring expertise and MIP programs are carried out.
- Provide oversight on current work (70%, while also pursuing new opportunities (30%).
- Develop client relationships, both with daily clients and more senior level contacts.
- Participate in: client meetings, presentations of VMLY&R work, client briefings, strategy sessions, and cross-agency partner meetings
- Build agency partnerships.
- Manage and develop direct reports.
- Financial management responsibilities include monthly projections and billing, monthly budget review with clients.
- Meet with and inform Director, Client Engagement on status of business, including escalation points.
Who you are and what you bring
- Comfortable working in and leading integrated agency relationships.
- Lead strategic efforts across multi-channel engagements.
- Communicate strategic direction across internal teams.
- Oversee the development of the account team, including goal setting performance evaluations.
- Financial responsibilities including monthly billing, forecasting and updating clients on monthly billing and expenses.
- Familiarity with all facets of interactive campaign and macro strategy development.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
- 4 or more years of experience, which may include large-agency or senior client-side marketing experience where focus has been on strategy and innovation when building brands.
- Experience with digital marketing focusing on site, display, search, emerging media or overall digital ecosystem development.
- Familiarity with all facets of interactive campaign and macro strategy development.
The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
