This role supports planning activity on 1 or 2 lines of business on an agency team in the nicotine / vaping / tobacco category. This role will be based out of our Newport Beach office. It’s perfect for someone who is driven by curiosity about people and culture. We’re looking for a person who is open, both to the world and to new ways of thinking about brands and the way people construct them.In addition, you will need to be smart, collaborative, flexible, quick-witted and able to stand up for your ideas in an environment that is always stimulating and never dull.

Required Skills  


  • Uncanny ability to distill and communicate complex topics and themes simply and with conviction
  • Deep curiosity about the forces that drive human behavior



Required Experience  


  • Two to five years of experience in a client-focused marketing environment
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree, graduate degree a plus
  • Undergraduate or graduate coursework in branding, marketing, planning and insights
  • Specific work experience with projects that have an emphasis in insights development, branding and marketing planning (either enterprise or campaign)


The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
