The cinematographer would be responsible for shooting everything from commercials, social content, behind-the-scenes footage and internal communications. They would be a strong collaborator, and meet with creative teams and producers daily to come up with concepts and estimates for various levels of productions, shooting in studio or on location, and managing digital assets and logging footage.

Responsibilities

• Work with producers and creatives to bring ideas to life through the lens of a camera
• Shooting video and photography of all kinds, including product, lifestyle, tabletop, studio and on location
• Working solo as well as being able to step in and control a set
• Participate in the creative process and help with concepts, scripts, and storyboards
• Translate a script or storyboard into shot lists and schedules for production
• Determine gear for our in-house studio and for the production specific needs of the shoot

Skills & Experience

• 3 years of relevant experience

• Proficient with a range of cameras as well as field and studio lighting

• An openness to travel, sometimes at a moment’s notice, with gear in tow

• Organization skills and dependability

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Must be willing to work in Kansas City, MO

• Video editing and post production knowledge is a plus
