The Autonomous Vehicle Training Manager (AVTM) oversees a team of Training Supervisors, Training Leads, and Training Specialists, ensuring the successful implementation of training programs and processes. The AVTM communicates effectively with all levels of management and clients regarding plans, schedules, and adherence to training guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all activities for new hire and skill enhancement training programs in assigned markets
- Lead, coach, and mentor Training Supervisors and Leads to support professional growth and operational excellence
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for training leadership roles
- Assess training needs and collaborate with peers, operations partners, and clients to establish effective training plans
- Provide guidance to Training Supervisors, escalating issues as appropriate
- Oversee the development and maintenance of class/cohort rosters, training reports, and metrics
- Coordinate facilities, vehicles, and materials needed to conduct training activities
- Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the training team and ensure compliance
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years of training experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Proficiency with laptops and mobile devices, including GSuite applications (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs)
- Previous experience in public safety, emergency response, or traffic management is highly preferred
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to think critically and communicate decisions clearly
- Capable of responding effectively to multiple situations and shifting business needs
- Skilled in multitasking with multiple technologies and communication platforms
- Flexible availability to support business operations, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong self-motivation, judgment, and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
