Transdev in Columbia, SC is seeking a light duty Auto Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining gas & diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a light Auto Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Perform repairs and replacements on gas & diesel engines, ensuring optimal functionality. 
  • Assist with advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow. 
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize gas & diesel engine performance. 
  • Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for gas & diesel engines. 
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications. 
 
Requirements:  
  • Two years of experience as a light Duty Mechanic.  
  • ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided    
  • Mechanic’s Tool Set   
  • Subject to pre-employment drug screening
