Utility Supervisor
Transdev in Arcadia, CA is hiring a Utility Supervisor. The Utility Supervisor oversees day-to-day field operations. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement:
 
  • $30 - $32.50 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale)
 
 
Benefits include:
  •  Vacation: up to 14 days per year
  •  Paid Sick Leave: 8 hrs monthly full-time employees/ 5 hrs monthly part-   time employees; medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays.

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Manage Operators scheduling & staffing of routes.
  • Provide leadership to build and maintain a strong team through effective communication, appraisal, training, and coaching.
  • Perform Operator safety evaluation ride checks, investigate and respond to situations, resolve operational issues.
  • Read maps, interpret transit operating rules and policies.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience 
  • Commercial Driving License with passenger and airbrake endorsements (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.   
 
Physical Requirements:
 
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
  • Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
