Position at Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc.

SEWS—El Paso Customer Service Center (Eastside).  Although located at SEWS – El Paso Office, this is a Hybrid position, which combines both in office and off-site work.  Associates are required to work at least three days in the office each week, but also have the flexibility to work off-site.
Procurement Clerk I
Assist and support MRO department in clerical duties, confirmation of vendor information, account reconciliations, Provides clerical service to the procurement section with regards to the procurement of MRO materials/services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist MRO Procurement Buyers with requested duties and with completing Requisitions and Purchase Orders and follow upon Intracompany Requisitions.
  • Reconciliation and tracking of various accounts (Credit Cards/Cell Phones/Trash services/Fuel Cards/Propane/Online Vendors, etc.)
  • Process New Supplier Set Ups in Share Point/Bank Changes/Maintain vendor requirements.
  • Maintain Certificates of Insurance "COI", tracking supplier expiration documents, Diversity/ISO, & travel accounts.
  • Complete consolidation of End Of Month Reports/Power Point Presentations/DNB Credit Monitoring/Tax Forms.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned by Procurement Management.
Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or GED Required
  • 0-2 years’ minimum experience in clerical setting required
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish
  • Good knowledge and experience with Excel, Outlook, and material systems
  • /knowledge in ERPLX or MPR
