Reserving Actuary
Description
This role will be based in Stockholm with interactions across our various offices and covering a range of lines of business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Use and improve our current processes for reporting to our finance team, management, capital modellers, as well as auditors and regulators.
- Improve transparency and efficiency in the team’s reporting and communication processes.
- Support the Actuarial Function Holder in the regulatory analyses, reporting, and responsibilities.
- Perform reserve, cash flow, and sensitivity analysis for our business processes (including Solvency II technical provisions).
- Enhance data management and analysis capabilities.
- Liaise with key stakeholders in the global actuarial, finance, and regulatory teams.
- Any other duties as reasonable required.
Your skills and abilities should include:
- Three or more years of experience in an actuarial role.
- Excellent academic record and degree level qualification.
- Solid General Insurance reserving experience and understanding of the Solvency II regulation is a merit.
- Interest in data processing and database structure.
- Working knowledge in tools such as SQL and Power-BI is a merit.
- High ambition in combination with creativity and a strong sense for details.
- Strong written English communication and presentation skills.
