Summary:

Responsible for leading multiple teams and managing operational and analytical projects of varying sizes, complexity, and type within the medical group and support services. The projects may tie together under different areas or contribute to the network. Leading always includes overseeing the personnel, setting goals creating outlines and assigning tasks as well as holding the teams accountable for success of the day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Leads the day-to-day operations of the medical practice.

2. Develops and implements short-term and long-term goals in conjunction with leadership to grow the business and increase market share based on Nuvance Health mission, vision and values

3. Independently measures, monitors and meet key performance indications (KPIs) using tools such as BRG, EPSI, PT Experience, and Tableau.

4. Proactively solve problems, administrative issues or patient/employee complaints in a timely manner.

5. Trains and educates staff to ensure compliance with health system policies and procedures, compliance program and any federal/state regulations.

6. Mentors team members to encourage development and growth.

7. Ensures that all office processes are clear and well executed to support a positive patient experience as well as efficient and accurate billing.

8. Meets with various levels of medical practice leadership as indicated to review dashboard and performance results.

9. Identifies and manages any quality improvement initiatives leading to improved workflows and employee/patient experiences.

10.Maintains and Models Nuvance Health Values.

11. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.

12. Performs other duties as required.

 

Education Skills Experience

• 3 to 5 years healthcare experience preferred. • Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent experience. • Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Formal Quality Improvement (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Quality), Customer Service, Executive/Management Coaching, Organizational Design, Facilitator and/or Training Certifications • Experience in Lean implementation and organizational/leadership development preferred. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio required, Use of SharePoint, Minitab, and other project management software, a plus.
