Title: Cancer Survivorship Program Coordinator - NHMP Danbury Integrative Medicine, Danbury, CT. Full time/40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Summary: The program coordinator is responsible for the execution and coordination of the operational and marketing strategies for Cancer Survivorship/Integrative Medicine across the network. This includes priority initiatives, processes involving coordination with oncology and other programs, outreach efforts, managing staff and others. The program coordinator also works closely with the System Medical Director to develop and grow the program across the 7-hospital system.

Responsibilities:

1. Develops, implements, and manages comprehensive cancer survivorship and integrative medicine programs for patients and families.

2. Provides education and resources to cancer survivors about lifestyle changes, symptom management and wellness strategies post treatment.

3. Develops and maintains program materials, including brochures, handouts, and online resources.

4. Serves as the primary point of contract for cancer survivors seeking support and services related to survivorship and integrative therapies.

5. Organizes and leads educational workshops, support groups, and informational sessions for cancer survivors and their families.

6. Provides information about integrative therapies (such as acupuncture, nutrition, massage) and their role in cancer recovery.

7. Collaborates with the oncology care team to ensure patients are informed of available survivorship resources.

8. Collects and maintains patient data to track outcomes, satisfaction, and program effectiveness.

9. Monitors and evaluates the success of survivorship and integrative medicine programs and provide recommendations for improvement.

10. Stays current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in cancer survivorship and integrative medicine.

11. Continuously assesses and improves services to better meet the needs of cancer survivors.

13. Demonstrates regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

14. Performs other duties as required.

    Other Information:

    • Occasional weekend hours may be necessary for attendance at fundraisers and promotional events.
    • Infrequent travel required to other locations including Sharon, New Milford, and Norwalk, CT along with Poughkeepsie, Carmel and Rhinebeck, NY.
    Education, Skills and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3 – 5 years in a healthcare setting or healthcare related field
    • 3-5 years' experience in project management or process improvement
    • Prefer experience with integrative medicine modalities
    • MS Word, Excel, Presentation skills

    Salary Range: $33.21 - $61.68 Hourly
