About the Team
At Nutanix, you'll be joining our dynamic Professional Services team, which consists of talented individuals located across the AMER, EMEA, and APAC regions. This diverse team collaborates closely with one another and our customers to implement and optimize Nutanix solutions. Together, we provide the technical expertise, guidance, and support necessary for our customers to maximize the benefits of Nutanix and VMware technologies, ensuring their success and satisfaction.
You will report to the Director of Services, Americas, who fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions will be valued. This position requires an on-site work setup, with a commitment to being in the office five days a week. Additionally, the role does not involve travel, allowing you to focus on your work in a stable and engaging office atmosphere. Your Role
  • Administer and optimize customer Nutanix/VMware environments to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and problem resolution for complex virtualization issues.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions through scripting to improve efficiency.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering guidance on best practices for Nutanix and VMware technologies.
  • Create and present growth plans and status reports to stakeholders and customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and enhance service offerings.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
  • Achieve set targets for project delivery and customer engagement within the first year.

 

What You Will Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in virtualization consulting or systems administration.
  • Strong knowledge of installation, configuration, migration, post‑deployment administration and operations, testing, and deployment of VMware and Nutanix virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration.
  • Experience with enterprise storage technologies and data protection strategies.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex networking issues.
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI and Full Scope Poly required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale virtualization environments.

 

Work Arrangement
On Site: This role is based on-site, offering the opportunity to collaborate face-to-face with team members in a dynamic and engaging work environment. Being physically present allows for seamless teamwork and direct access to resources that support your success. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.

 

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 160,000 and USD $ 272,400 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
