The Opportunity

Are you a highly skilled and customer-oriented professional with strong experience in enterprise virtualization, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and complex customer environments? If so, consider joining Nutanix as a Staff Consultant in Korea.

This role is a key customer-facing Services position in Korea. Due to the local market coverage model, the Staff Consultant will be expected to operate in a hybrid responsibility model, covering technical escalation management, solution design, hands-on implementation, customer advisory, and post-delivery technical guidance.

The minimum expectation is strong capability in Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure / NCI, with broader Nutanix portfolio skills highly preferred.

About the Team

You will join the Nutanix Services Delivery team, which is part of a global services organization. The team focuses on helping customers successfully design, deploy, operate, and optimize Nutanix solutions.

In Korea, this role will act as a key local technical resource for enterprise customers. You will work closely with regional services leaders, project managers, support teams, engineering teams, partners, and sales teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.

You will report to the Services Delivery Leader and work in a hybrid services delivery model. The role may require travel to customer sites in Korea and occasional overseas travel for internal meetings, training, or regional support.

Your Role

As a Staff Consultant, you will deliver Nutanix Professional Services engagements for customers in Korea. You will lead technical workshops, capture requirements, create design documents, perform implementation work, manage technical escalations, and provide practical guidance to help customers operate Nutanix solutions successfully.

This role requires both deep technical hands-on capability and strong customer communication skills. You should be comfortable working independently with customers while collaborating with regional and global Nutanix teams.

Responsibilities

· Deliver Nutanix Professional Services engagements for customers in Korea.

· Lead customer workshops to understand business requirements, technical requirements, risks, and success criteria.

· Create design documents, implementation plans, migration plans, test plans, and operational handover documents.

· Perform hands-on implementation of Nutanix solutions, with a primary focus on NCI.

· Support Nutanix environments across virtualization, storage, networking, data protection, lifecycle management, and platform operations.

· Manage technical escalations and coordinate with Nutanix Support, Engineering, Product Management, partners, and customer teams.

· Provide technical governance during project delivery to ensure alignment with Nutanix best practices.

· Help customers improve platform stability, operational efficiency, and adoption of Nutanix solutions.

· Work with project managers to manage scope, timeline, risks, dependencies, and customer communication.

· Support pre-sales activities as a subject-matter expert when required.

· Identify future services opportunities during customer engagements.

· Contribute to services practice development, including templates, best practices, knowledge sharing, quality assurance, and peer reviews.

· Maintain current knowledge of the Nutanix portfolio and related ecosystem technologies.

What You Will Bring

· Minimum 8 years of experience as a consultant, architect, or senior engineer in virtualization, storage, VDI, cloud, or enterprise datacenter infrastructure.

· Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure or similar enterprise virtualization platforms.

· Deep understanding of virtualization technologies such as Nutanix AHV, VMware vSphere, KVM, or Hyper-V.

· Strong understanding of datacenter infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, security, and operations.

· Experience designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions, including multi-site, high availability, and disaster recovery architectures.

· Good understanding of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, file, block, object storage, and distributed storage.

· Good understanding of data protection technologies, including snapshots, replication, backup, restore, and disaster recovery.

· Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across virtualization, storage, networking, and infrastructure layers.

· Ability to independently lead customer discussions, whiteboarding sessions, design reviews, and technical escalations.

· Ability to create clear technical documentation and customer-facing presentations.

· Strong customer relationship skills with a focus on ownership, accountability, communication, and customer satisfaction.

· Ability to work independently in Korea while collaborating with regional and global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

· Prior Nutanix design and deployment experience.

· Nutanix certifications such as NCP, NCS, NCM, or NCX.

· VMware certifications such as VCAP, VCIX, or equivalent.

· Experience with Nutanix AHV, AOS, Prism Central, Flow, Files, Objects, Volumes, Leap, and Life Cycle Manager.

· Experience with Nutanix Cloud Manager, including operations, automation, self-service, and cost governance.

· Experience with Nutanix Unified Storage, Nutanix Database Service, Nutanix Kubernetes Platform, or Nutanix Cloud Clusters.

· Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes or container platforms.

· Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, VMware Aria Automation, or similar tools.

· Experience with public cloud or hybrid cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

· Experience with workload migration, including VMware to AHV, Hyper-V to AHV, P2V, and V2V migration.

· Experience with VDI technologies such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops or VMware Horizon.

· Experience with enterprise applications such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Exchange, SAP, or other business-critical workloads.

· Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, MCSE, CCNA, RHCE, VCAP, VCIX, or equivalent.

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

How We Work

This role operates in a hybrid capacity, combining remote work, office collaboration, and customer-site delivery.

For Korea, the Staff Consultant is expected to provide broad local technical coverage across services delivery, escalation management, solution design, and implementation. The consultant should be comfortable working directly with customers, partners, sales teams, support teams, and regional services leadership.

The role may require travel to domestic customer sites and occasional overseas travel for internal team meetings, training, or regional project support.
