About the Role 

 
An exciting and immediate opportunity for a Rewind Operator to join our established team based at our Melbourne plant. This is a night shift role consisting of 36 hours per week across 3 days. (Sunday – Tuesday)   
  
Utilizing a rewind machine, you will be responsible for processing and quality inspecting printed labels in order to achieve targets and timeframes for our customers. You will join an established team who are the success behind print professionals. In this exciting and varied role, you will:   
  • Make ready and run rewind machine according to schedule. 
  • Quality checks all products to customer specification and company standards. 
  • Pack and transfer finished goods to despatch holding area. 
  • Support printers and manufacturing team as required.  
  • Quality standard practices, maintaining quality assurance, adhere to safe work practices and general housekeeping. 

About You

  • Mechanically aptitude (preferred) 
  • Experience working in manufacturing industry, especially with labels (preferred but not essential as on the job training is provided)  
  • Certificate II qualification in Printing or similar field (preferred but not essential) 
  • Basic computer proficiency 
  • Ability to discern all colors (no color vision concerns). 
  • Physically able to perform manual handling tasks. 
  • Does not suffer from motion sickness. 
  • Eligible for Australian working rights.
