About the Role 

 
An exciting and immediate opportunity for an Ink Technician to join our established team based at our MCC Melbourne plant. This is a day shift role consisting of 38 hours per week across 5 days. (7am – 3pm Monday - Friday)  
 
You will be responsible assisting in preparation of inks as per schedules for label production. You will ensure that the ink meets quality standards and specifications for printing. In this exciting and varied role, you will:   
  • Prepare inks as per schedule. 
  • Ink mixing and colour matching. 
  • Formula and spectro recording. 
  • Sample and print history recording. 
  • Ordering and receipting.  
  • Reconciling and managing ink deliveries as it comes in. 
  • Quality standard practices, maintaining quality assurance and adhere to safe work practices. 
  

About You (criteria)  

  • Experience in colour matching and working with inks. 
  • Experience working in manufacturing industry, especially with labels (preferred but not essential as on the job training is provided)  
  • Basic computer proficiency 
  • Ability to discern all colours (no colour vision concerns). 
  • Physically able to perform manual handling tasks. 
  • Eligible for Australian working rights.
