Expert Audio Experience Engineer
The Logitech G and Astro Gaming are seeking a Expert Audio Experience Engineer, focused on Acoustics and Signal Processing, to join our Gaming Innovation Team. Our team’s unique long-range approach requires high level technical vision as well as the ability to focus on the finest theoretical and perceptual details.
In this position, you’ll use your expertise in acoustics and signal processing to create and deploy innovative audio experiences for the gaming industry. Through our team’s highly iterative and hands-on approach to innovation, you will development ideas ranging from a theoretical foundation to interactive demonstrations that will be experienced by the gaming leadership team and gamers. You will also be responsible for the deployment of these experiences to either or both of our Gaming brands.

Advancing the gaming experience to be more immersive by developing innovative audio experiences that can be applied experiences in demo’s and in new product introductions.
Extensive collaboration with our gaming acoustic engineerings and research engineers on the technical and perceptual merits of the innovation.
Demonstration of innovation prototypes to stakeholders and external gamers including professional gamers.
Implementation plan of new innovations to easily become part of either brands roadmap.
This position will require both domestic and international travel.
Build external relationships with the audio industry experts including start ups and universities.
Must have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Experience with research and development of audio technology incorporating signal processing, acoustics, psychoacoustics and related fields of engineering.
Experience in system design and integration with gaming headsets, and electronic control modules.
Research experience involving mathematical analysis and modeling.
Deeply passionate and knowledgeable about audio engineering.
Additional preferred skills:
Matlab and Simulink experience
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Experience with headset design and selection
Must be willing to travel (~25%)
10+ years of professional hands on relevant experience
Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechanical or Equivalent degree with an emphasis on Audio Engineering, DSP, or Communications.
Masters of Science in Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechanical or Equivalent is preferred
