ISP SSRS Report Developer Role Profile  
Purpose of Role  
The SSRS Report Developer is responsible for working with schools and regions to de 
The post holder will be responsible for agreeing requirements, deadlines and priorities and working with the regional systems managers, wider technology team and key stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of the reporting capability covering operational and management/KPI reports.  
This role will report to the Group Head of Technology – Programmes.

ISP Key Responsibilities
 
  • Work with school and Regional staff to define report requirements
  • Development of new SSRS reports and enhancements of existing reports as required including working with the requestor to test all aspects of the report and achieve sign-off
  • Create aesthetically pleasing reports
  • Manage loading and distribution of reports to the system and configuring access as required
  • Liaising with vendor for any support requirements related to the reporting and assessment system as required to support deliverables
  • Ensure that proper controls are in place so that reports are accurate and timely; resolve any issues/errors
  • Maintain calendar of schools’ reporting cycles and pro-actively encourage schools to test reports early
  • Contribute to the Reports development lifecycle including understanding of requirements, designing and development of reports.
  • Creating SQL queries to provide reports and data extracts based on business needs.
  • Develop and design standard reports, custom reports, and dashboards using MS SQL Server data query tools and reporting tools.
  • Update and resolution of service desk tickets raised relating to SSRS reports
  • Drive standardisation and re-use of reports wherever possible
  • Advise schools on ideal assessment and gradebook setup to drive efficient reporting
 
 
Skills, Qualifications and Experience 
  • Ability to multitask and work with changing priorities.

  • Ability to work across all regions/countries.

  • Solid understand of SQL, SSMS and SSRS
  • Experience working with visual studio or similar coding environments.
  • Experience working within a customer service role
  • Previous use of call logging / Ticket system
  • Able to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Understanding of school working environments and assessment methodologies
  • Knowledge of iSAMS (Ideal)
  • Fluent English essential, Spanish language highly desirable
  • Spoken and written Arabic advantageous, other European languages (Italian, French, Polish, Portuguese a plus)
  • PowerBI experience desirable.
