School Marketing Manager, British School of Geneva and Ecole Mosaic
Purpose of Role
The School Marketing Manager British School of Geneva and Mosaic will support ISP’s Europe Regional Marketing Team in developing and delivering the schools’ marketing strategies, driving awareness, engagement, and enrolment growth through effective brand management, digital communications, and community relations. This role ensures marketing excellence across all touchpoints—aligning creative initiatives, data-driven insights, and local partnerships to enhance reputation, strengthen parent engagement, and support the school’s lead generation and long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Help to build the school marketing strategy, with Principal and ISP teams.
- Lead on the creation of the Annual School’s MAR Plan, including coordination of the Marketing Budget.
- Monitor expenditure in alignment with the Marketing Plan and manage Budget Tracker, working closely with the School’s Head of Finance.
- Prepare and manage the school marketing calendar including newsletters, marketing emails and social media schedules.
- Marketing reporting.
- Support on the production of annual reports on competitors including fees, pupil numbers and academic provision.
Digital Communications and Campaign Management
- Define and maintain each school’s brand guidelines in collaboration with the Regional MKT Team (i.e. Brand guidelines, Onsite Environmental Signage and Branded asset production).
- Identify stories from within the schools and create engaging content to promote them across a range of media, including online, email, social media.
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
- Operational support on paid digital campaigns (Paid Social, Search, Display, Ad Networks) and content creation.
- Produce regular marketing emails to pipeline.
- Support maintenance of the websites and continually review performance of websites, email campaigns, social media pages and landing pages and take a proactive approach to improving them.
School Events
- Collaborate with the Admissions team to promote school open days, school tours and school events for prospective parents and visitors.
- Attend external events, exhibitions and fairs to promote the schools.
School Communications & Brand Management
- Owns the creation & design of new marketing and admissions materials, content production and copy writing (i.e. brochures, photo/video shooting, merchandising) admissions materials.
- Work with schools’ staff to ensure that branding is used correctly and consistently.
- Managing collaborations with external providers for: designing, printing, merchandising.
- Support on NPS comms plans.
Community and Business Relations
- Support in the development of opportunities for partnerships with local businesses and organizations, acting as a school representative where needed.
- Help to foster and maintain strong parent relationships through MKT related retention activities (i.e. internal comms, events for the community).
- Identify new ways to attract prospective customers, e.g. promotions.
- Run in depth interviews/focus groups with parents to get insightful inputs on how to reach prospective families more effectively.
Admissions
- Work closely with Admissions team and deputise for Admissions Managers during sickness and vacation periods, as required.
You will be passionate about marketing, the latest marketing trends and our schools. You will strike a balance between outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail with creative flair. Your writing skills will be excellent. You will be an energetic achiever, with a “can do” attitude; driven and commercially minded. You will be flexible, enjoy working as part of a team and will naturally form good relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a relevant field.
- Minimum three years’ experience working in education marketing.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent command of the English and French languages.
- First class communication skills (written and spoken), with the ability to produce engaging written copy for a variety of audiences.
- Creative.
- Excellent organisation skills: well organised and able to prioritise tasks.
- Attention to detail.
- Good presentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate, collate and interpret data.
- Critical thinking.
- Systems experience:
- Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Hubspot an advantage
- Social Media and social media management tools
- Image editing tools (Photoshop, Canva, Indesign)
- Wordpress
