As an Optical Systems Integration Engineer in the Edge Autonomy Optronics R&D department, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our imaging and optical system solutions. You will collaborate with suppliers and the embedded systems team, contribute to the implementation of new technologies, and ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
 
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and test third-party optical and image processing solutions and features for integration into our products.
Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure proper feature support and provide technical feedback.
Assist embedded systems engineers in validating and integrating imaging and optical features.
Analyze system-level imaging and optical solutions and ensure their correct use within our architecture.
Conduct camera and optical system testing, including configuration of settings, interfaces, and communication.
Support system-level debugging, validation, and documentation of imaging and optical components.
 
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Understanding of image processing, optical systems, and computer vision concepts (algorithm development not required).
Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals, especially camera interfaces, communication protocols, and embedded systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic to intermediate Python programming skills for scripting and automation.
Excellent communication skills for working with external partners and internal teams.
Proficiency in English for technical discussions and document.
