Position Summary:

The candidate will be the primary interface between the marketing team, product development and product management, and the creative team and is responsible for the intake of all creative requests and daily management of the creative workflow for the Grooming and Cosmetic Bag businesses within the HBAC division of the company with secondary support to the Brand Marketing team in support of sales presentation creative asset generation.  

The AE is responsible for understanding and owning the full creative project lifecycle, from creative brief thru artwork release, in a SKU intensive, fast paced environment. Primary focus in the role will be on managing the packaging, retail display and promotions and sales collateral needs identified by your marketing partners and in collaboration with the creative team and shared services providers in an internal agency model to successfully execute and deliver assets and programs on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of the comprehensive creative needs for all assigned businesses including but not limited to national line and promotional packaging, corrugated displays, image requests, copywriting requests, print and digital advertising needs, printed collateral, event support and other creative needs as dictated by the marketing team
  • Workflow management in Sharepoint, keeping accurate status notes and ensuring core recordkeeping needs are maintained with appropriate legal reviews captured
  • Interface with sales, marketing, design, CCL, external vendors & creative shared services on a daily basis to meet divisional goals
  • Delivering projects on time consistently with a high rate of accuracy
  • Follow internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.
  • Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an internal creative services group or agency environment working on the day-to-day execution of creative projects
  • Solid understanding of the 2D creative process in a packaging centric business model
  • Ability to interface with all stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and think critically
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and effective manner
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Be an active listener and able to take direction and redirection when needed
  • Technology savvy and proficient with Mac OS. Sharepoint and Microsoft Office products is key

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • Packaging & retail display knowledge is a plus
  • Experience working on a beauty brand is a plus
  • Retail trend awareness

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time.
