Multimedia Designer

We are seeking a Multimedia/Graphic Designer & Web Admin to join our digital team. You will be designing a wide variety of assets for social media and other digital projects. The digital  role will be 60-70% design for Conair social media channels and 30-40% support, assisting with various web projects and product management tasks. We are looking for a highly-creative individual who feels comfortable working in digital design, video editing and video animation (titles, basic effects, transitions, lower thirds, etc), who is also comfortable working with digital photography and videography. Must be comfortable working with digital assets and typography  in Photoshop, editing videos and video animation in Premiere Pro and creating graphic effects in After effects. This individual will also be comfortable and familiar with posting and editing in all social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok.  This is a fast-paced position where you’ll be creating  content on a daily basis and helping as with support functions for the digital team. To be successful in this position, you will be a self-starter, with good organizational and time management skills, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas and show amazing attention to detail, and also be a team player, willing to assist in other support areas as needed.

 

Roles and Responsibilities :

Assisting and coordinating in social media planning.

Designing photo designs, illustrated and carousel posts for social media and other digital channels.

Designing video assets for social media. 

Creating video content for social channels including TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Assisting with the posting of social media assets.

Assisting with administering products on the web site, and other channels.

Assist with updating Social Media shopping channels

Assist with answering comments and messages from social media

Additional support functions within the digital marketing team.

Must be Covid-19 vaccinated.

We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the Stamford office 50% of time.

 

Required Skills

Advanced knowledge of Photoshop (min 4 years)

Experience using Adobe Premiere (Min 3 years)

Experience using Adobe After Effects (Min 2 years)

In-depth knowledge of posting to Social Media channels (2-3 years exp.)

Experience using social media planner Hootsuite or similar social planner - preferred

Photographic skills

Videography skills

Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Any HTML5, CSS or web design a bonus not required


Education: BA in Graphic Design or related degree
