JOB DESCRIPTION

 

JOB TITLE:Receiving / Warehouse Personnel

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Unloading Containers, Locating, and maintaining inventory

 

FUNCTIONS

Unload and check in product for receiving, palletize by SKU and lot numbers, verify quantities

Prepare samples for Quality control inspection after production

Properly store product in warehouse

Re-package damaged product when component availability permits

Transfer product from, to, or within the warehouse

Review existing inventory for product consolidation and consolidate where necessary

Prepare corresponding paperwork for the movement of all products to maintain proper inventory

Maintain integrity of inventory

Perform general housekeeping duties as required

Follow established safety rules and regulations

 

EDUCATION

 

High School diploma or GED equivalent

 

TRAINING

 

OSHA approved material handling equipment classes

 

KNOWLEDGE

 

CRT operation, inventory procedures, basic warehousing techniques

 

SKILLS

 

Operation of various powered material handling equipment

Math, Reading, Writing, Communication

Speak English, Read English, and Write English

 

EXPERIENCE

 

Inventory processing, receiving and warehousing documentation

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

Lifting, bending, stooping, pivoting, reaching, sitting, speaking, hearing, standing, walking, seeing, carrying, squatting, balance, pivoting, reading, writing

 
PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES
 
Lifting up to 50 pounds

Bending for prolonged periods of time

Standing for prolonged periods of time

Standing for long periods of time on machinery at heights up to 25 feet
