Position Summary:

The Sr. Credit Analyst is a strategic business partner to the Credit and Collections Team who is responsible for monitoring and evaluating credit risk management for Conair’s customer account portfolio to increase cash flow, provide credit options to hedge risk, maximize sales, and avoid bad debt. Reporting to the Director of Credit & Collections, this applicant will contribute new ideas, be a strong team player and be adaptable to a high-volume, fast-moving work environment.  This role will work cross-functionally with order-to-cash and the compliance team.


  • Analyze and establish credit lines for new and existing customers through detailed financial analysis and direct contact with customer financial officers
  • Properly escalate accounts at risk to management in a timely manner
  • Inform sales representatives and collections specialists of significant changes in account status in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other industry credit managers, trade groups, customers, and vendors to stay abreast of industry trends
  • Review accounts with pending orders over credit limit
  • Underwriting and maintenance of customer credit lines in compliance with Conair’s policy and delegation of authority
  • Reevaluate customers with change in ownership
  • Assist in preparation of compliance reporting (charts/tables/graphs) with financial data for monthly operating reviews
  • Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with concentration in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years credit analysis including financial statement analysis
  • Interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationship with customers and various functional groups across the organization
  • Superb written, analytical/quantitative and communication skills and strong executive presence
  • Strong Excel, technical and organization skills are required
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team contributor
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels of the organization

 Beneficial Qualifications:

  • Experience working in SAP

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the East Windsor office 50% of time.
