Position Summary:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the financial processing of transactions for the organization performing crucial job duties that ensure vendors get paid for services and products rendered.  You will review and process invoices, answer vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements. Their duties include daily bookkeeping and record keeping, financial reporting supporting monthly financial closing and year end audit initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Document processing of Business Transactions
  • Data validation for accuracy and timely management of workflow
  • Finance Group Management of Vendor Accounts – Compliance of Payment, Tax and Audit policies and procedures
  • Verify and Post transaction activity against Purchase Order Receipt or Approved Third Party Invoice.
  • Maintain document upload into Business System supporting interdepartmental reliance on data recordkeeping
  • Support Monthly Financial Closing and Year End Audit initiatives
  • Assist with the management of Vendor Master creation and change initiatives
  • Respond and resolve Vendor Inquiries
  • Assist with Treasury Forecast initiatives governing Cash Forecast and Cash Management Reporting

Essential Qualifications:

  • Understanding of financial transactional document processing and management
  • Support and assist vendor management of alphabetized distributed business partner activity through both a remote and in-house collaborative environment.
  • Possess Positivity, Critical Thinking, Adaptability, Punctuality, and Maintain Strong Work Ethic
  • Analytical reasoning, Detail Oriented, Organized Process Driven

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or general business preferred but not required

Environmental Factors:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (% if needed)
  • Must be Covid-19 vaccinated
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 50% of time
