This Researcher role is rooted in delivering timely, business-critical information to employees at VMLY&R agencies around the world. The main duties are responding to research requests from new business executives, client teams and strategists for the purpose of winning new prospects and providing for current clients’ needs. The environment is fast–paced with a high volume of research requests across widely varying different topics.

Required Skills

  • Uncanny ability to distill and communicate complex topics and themes simply and with conviction
  • Deep curiosity about the forces that drive human behavior
  • Provide secondary research to VMLY&R employees from free and subscription services.
  • Add value to all deliverables through appropriate curation, context and usability.
  • Assist employees with conducting their own research and accessing our self-service tools.
  • Assist in training events to promote and encourage usage of our resources.

Required Experience

  • Two to five years of experience in a client-focused marketing environment
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree, graduate degree a plus
  • Undergraduate or graduate coursework in branding, marketing, planning and insights
  • Specific work experience with projects that have an emphasis in insights development, branding and marketing planning (either enterprise or campaign)
