Description

ActioNet is looking for a SharePoint Administrator with an Active Public Trust Clearance for an opportunity in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

Summary:

You will serve as the Senior SharePoint Administrator responsible for the day to day operations and management of an enterprise SharePoint environment. You will serve as the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the program and work a team to create sites, manage permission, troubleshoot issues, update third-party tools and software, perform SharePoint updates. Coordinate server maintenance to ensure a stable SharePoint service. Work with stakeholders to design and develop solutions to address business needs and opportunities and propose changes that would make the SharePoint environment a more effective solution. Maintain and administer Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis. Provide technical guidance to the team in the technologies related to the development and support of an Enterprise SharePoint environment (understanding relationship with active directory, SQL, IIS, etc..

Duties:

  • Monitor SharePoint software for issues
  • Troubleshoot problems promptly
  • Assist with SharePoint upgrade and migrations
  • Oversee the SharePoint web farm infrastructure, user permissions, and solution designs
  • Support the installation, configuration, security, operations and maintenance of the SharePoint environment including architecture, content database management, capacity planning, and patching
  • Analyze daily user activity on SharePoint
  • Maintain records of SharePoint updates, maintenance, and activity
  • Report updates and information about SharePoint usage
  • Provide technical support to the user community
  • Maintain SharePoint firewalls and security (e.g., patching, scanning)

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or engineering related field of study
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator
  • Experience working with the most recent version of SharePoint 2019
  • MCSE or MCSD certification 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Federal government experience
  • Cloud experience (AWS, Microsoft 365)

  • Bachelor’s degree or in IT or computer engineering
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator
