ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a  requiring a Senior Adobe Experience Manager  SECRET located in Rosslyn, VA. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. 

The Senior Adobe Experience Manager (Developer) is responsible for delivering and supporting an internationally focused website. You'll architect the solution and develop all aspects of the website with a small team. Your role will span multiple aspects of the AEM Authoring experience including building pages in AEM, training authors, understanding website/authoring issues and enhancement requests. You must have strong technical skills and be able to develop using the latest front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JS). Ideally, you should have some exposure to backend programming languages with an eagerness to expand that knowledge.

 

Job Responsibilities

·       Translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct code/design reviews, and drive the technical implementation of this web project throughout the State Department software development lifecycle.

·       Work with adjacent development teams to implement integrated technical solutions.

·       Develop front-end code in a timely and high-quality manner while leveraging site standards including site structure, page templates, navigation and the site information architecture.

·       Be part of a team that builds AEM authoring components and templates

·       Design, develop, and maintain scalable and stable web solutions that meet business needs.

·       Utilize AEM to layout pages, troubleshoot issues, and train authors of the system.

·       Assign tasks and coordinate with offshore resources.

·       Partner with our contract’s User Experience team to develop effective/engaging designs.

·       Utilize reusable templates and common HTML elements while leveraging centralized JQuery/JavaScript libraries and global CSS.

·       Use a shared standards library to be used by future web teams

·       Help with day-to-day operational tasks and assist in ensuring the quality of our website.

·       Own and drive specific area(s) of website functionality such as search, videos, web site performance - including but not limited to:

o   Triage issues in those areas

o   Prioritize enhancement stories

o   Develop features for those areas of responsibility.

·       Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Job Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience) is required.

·       Experience coding front-end standards-compliant HTML/CSS that is scalable and cross-browser compatible.

·       Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and related technologies

·       Knowledge of web project lifecycle including front-end/back-end development.

·       Successful track record interfacing and communicating effectively across cross-functional teams and with clients.

·       Exposure to developing new functionality (templates and components) in Content Management System

·       Experience developing in Adobe AEM

·       Ability to work with senior level clients, juggle multiple requirements, while paying strong attention to details.

·       Understanding of usability and design best practices.

·       Secret Clearance required.

·       Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

 

Minimum Skills:

·       Self-starter with the ability to learn new tasks and skills.

·       Strong organization and communications skills. Experience coding front-end standards-compliant HTML/CSS that is scalable and cross-browser compatible.

·       Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and related technologies

·       Experience developing in Adobe AEM

·       Ability to work with senior level clients, juggle multiple requirements, while paying strong attention to details.

·       Ability to multitask and have practical time management skills.

·       Team Player

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.

 

Reports to: IT Program, Management Director

·       Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
