ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a part-time Cable Splicer (Senior & Journeyman) in S. Korea. Must have active SECRET clearance. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.

As Senior AV/VTC Engineer you will splice overhead or underground cables used in telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities:

• Splices overhead or underground cables used in telecommunications systems.
• Provides support to pre-fabricated communication shelters by assisting with ISP/OSP cable entrance and overhead cable tray. 
• Measures, cuts, installs, and tests (according to standards identified in test plan) fiber and copper cables.
• Supports accurate cable labeling 
• Senior position will supervises junior-level staff.

Required:

•              Active DoD Secret Clearance
•              May be required to work Extended Work Week (EWW) Overtime and weekends may be required
•              CompTia Sec+ ce or similar to meet 8570 IAT Level II Certification
•              Travel to various sites (estimated at 50%)
