ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Printer Support Team. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.  This position will be ON-SITE (5 days a week in Silver Spring, MD).      
 As the Printer Support Team you will solve user’s routine problems with printing, network or applications software. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work well with team members and independently. The chosen candidate must also enjoy working in a continuous improvement, collaborative, and challenging environment.     
Job Responsibilities       
  • First level Support for Computers, Laptops and Printers.
  •  Answer user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware, printer, phone,   internet connectivity and other IT related operations
  • Manage assigned Help desk tickets, record status updates and resolutions in ticketing system.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, this includes referring major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
  • Monitor and resolve tickets on a daily basis.
  • Assist with setting up and troubleshooting teleconferencing
  • Manage IT equipment, check out and check in loaner equipment.
  • Utilize Active Directory (adds/moves/changes) group memberships.
  • Reset user Passwords.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Install local, network printers and other PC accessories.
  • Image computers Laptops and tablets using SCCM.
  • Troubleshoot and configure multifunction devices such as Lexmark printers.
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies.

Requirements: Public Trust clearance will be required to start, sponsorship available.
