ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Electrical Engineer, Journeyman, in S. Korea with an Active SECRET clearance.   ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.

As Journeyman Electrical Engineer you will Assists with Installing electrical components to include switches, circuit breakers, grounding leads and other electrical components as required.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with Installing electrical components to include switches, circuit breakers, grounding leads and other electrical components as required.
• Performs circuit testing for voltage, amperage, continuity and safety after installation and adjust, as needed.
• Works in accordance with all applicable standards, ie the National Electric Code (H.33)
• Assists with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, switches, outlets, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Performs general electrical maintenance on a variety of electrical components and systems.
• Assists with inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components for proper installation and operation.
• Troubleshoots electrical issues using appropriate testing devices ie volt, amp, ohm meter.
• Assists with repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Assists with installing conduit, wire, and associated parts from main service panel to sub-panels as required.
• Assists with bends and installs surface mount electrical conduit.
• Connects wiring to lighting fixtures, power equipment, and controls instruments using hand tools.
• Assists with installs, alters, repairs, maintains various electrical systems and related equipment for on-site work.
• Assists with installs and repairs grounding systems within facility.
• Performs work under the supervision and guidance of senior-level staff.
• May be required to work Extended Work Week (EWW) Overtime and weekends may be required
• Travel to various sites estimated at 50%

REQUIRED: 

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years similar experience OR HS Degree or GED plus 7 years related experience
• May be required to work Extended Work Week (EWW) Overtime and weekends may be required
• CompTia Sec+ ce or similar to meet 8570 IAT Level II Certification
• Travel to various sites (estimated at 50%)
