At VMLY&R, we're reframing traditional planning for a more connected age. We have assembled an accomplished and diverse team of experts and are looking for a Senior Experience Strategist who will be an active part of this growing global group.

You Will

  • Demonstrate the importance of framing the customer as a human being and not just another number
  • Know both the industry and competitive landscape of connected brands and customer experience. Report out on trends and recommendations to support the strategy
  • Develop an understanding of customer needs and behaviors (B2C and B2B) by engaging through field research, and consumer segmentation analysis
  • Know the products and services our clients offer – thoroughly understand the benefits and value we are offering through the eyes of the customer
  • Lead collaboration sessions to uncover insights to guide strategic choices
  • Translate a complex landscape of customer interactions, touch points, partners, and processes into meaningful, end-to-end customer journeys
  • Form strategic insights into relevant strategies that solve for both customer needs and business gaps/opportunities
  • Work with internal and client partners to determine the correct approach to test, pilot, validate and scale customer experiences in the marketplace
  • Run the daily relationship with clients. We are here to help our clients be the best they can be.
  • Work with internal and external teams to keep collective knowledge and design patterns in step with contemporary customer expectations of high-value brand interactions

You Bring

  • Experience with market research, consumer insights, and technology trends
  • 3+ years of experience with consumer engagement strategies (digital, mobile, physical)
  • Experience developing programs that combine vision with strategic principles and tactical ideas
