Where you shine

Account Managers serve as agency implementers to achieve the client’s brand and business objectives by providing them with activation guidance and by working with the internal team to execute strategies. Account Managers handle the day-to-day operations of agency projects, including research, scope development and job execution. In this role, you will implement work from beginning to end while fostering relationships directly with clients and the agency team

What your success will look like

  • Operational excellence in daily blocking and tackling of account/s
  • Responsible for ensuring conference reports and/or meeting notes are accurate and distributed to clients and/or agency partners
  • Initiates/drafts scope documents and works with team to secure client approval
  • Initiates projects within the agency, according to standard kick-off protocol
  • Responsible for day-to-day implementation of project deliverables; ensures deliverables are client ready
  • Collaborate with other agency partners to ensure goals and deadlines are met
  • Builds on financial management skills, including preparation of billing and monthly projections for review with supervisor
  • Gains and maintains knowledge of client’s business, industry and competition
  • Participates in key client meetings including status meetings and VMLY&R work presentations
  • Maintains a positive attitude and is flexible when things shift
  • Maintains competitive reporting and informs the team on changes within the competitive set.
  • Is eager to grow within the department, seeking opportunities to understand additional capabilities

  • Strong relationship management, organizational, and project management skills 
  • Manages up and knows when to escalate client and/or internal concerns 
  • Works effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously 
  • Identify growth opportunities and incremental opportunities with client partners 
  • Actively contributes to team, department and agency culture
