About the opportunity:

The Account Executive hunts, prospects, and engages new clients, develops proposals, and manages the sales process start to finish. Serves as the primary relationship owner for an assigned territory for direct sales engagements as well as working with a network of Partners to develop new client opportunities. Develops and maintains excellent knowledge and understanding of NetDocuments business, products, our competitors, and the legal tech industry. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients within the corporate vertical in the legal industry
  • Utilizing a consistent contact attempt process via phone and email to follow-up, nurture and qualify leads
  • NetDocuments pipeline management process detailing all interactions and pipeline stages using Salesforce
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive prospecting plan to generate new leads and opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers
  • Present, negotiate, and close deals to achieve sales targets and quotas
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments (e.g., marketing, product) to support customer needs and drive business growth
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitors

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as an Account Executive or similar sales role, with 3+ years of experience in B2B sales
  • 2+ years of experience selling a legal SaaS product
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and generating new business opportunities independently
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work effectively as the sole representative in the designated vertical
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset
  • Experience working with in a longer sales-cycle (6-9+ months)
  • Partnerships experience - building relationships with and generating opportunities through a partner channel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce
