Your Opportunity For Impact
NetDocuments is seeking an experienced Billing Team Lead to join our dynamic Finance team. As our new Billing Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of the monthly/daily billing process and ensuring that the team meets all established goals and objectives.
You will be expected to guide, mentor, support team members and collaborate with other departments to ensure success. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in SaaS Billing, SFDC, NetSuite, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of leading successful teams.
What your Contributions Will Be
- Create and implement individual development plans for each team member in BambooHR, aligning personal and team goals to promote professional growth.
- Oversee daily invoicing processes, including NetDocuments invoicing, and ensure timely and accurate billing practices.
- Manage the month-end billing close process to ensure all financial activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide comprehensive training to team members on billing tools and processes, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
- Partner with Customer Success, Accounts Receivable, and Renewals teams to address and resolve complex billing inquiries and challenges.
- Offer guidance and support to team members regarding workload management and professional development.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for team members regarding issues related to Salesforce (SFDC), NetSuite, and other billing processes.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and drive improvements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and enhance billing processes for greater efficiency and accuracy. Take ownership of Standard Business Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain SOP documentation.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for billing processes, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible.
- Ensure continuous support for the team during absences and implement backup strategies to maintain business operations.
- Collaborate with management to enhance system functionalities, contributing to improved invoicing accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overall business objectives.
What you Bring to the Team
- Four to seven years proven leadership experience as a Billing team lead in a SaaS role with a track record of developing and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and KPI management.
- Proficiency in billing software (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking must be adaptable to ambiguous environments.

Compensation Transparency
The compensation range for this position is: $65,000 - $80,000
The posted cash compensation for this position includes on target earnings. Some roles may qualify for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are determined based on various factors specific to each candidate, such as career level, skills, experience, geographic location, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
