We are currently seeking a Lead PHP Developer to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development and architecture of our PHP-based solutions, leading a team of developers, and ensuring the successful execution of key projects. As a Lead Developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of the team and maintaining a high standard of development excellence.

What you will be doing:
As the Lead PHP Developer, you will:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of PHP developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. You will guide the team in delivering robust, scalable applications and uphold best practices across all stages of development.
- Technical Oversight: Take ownership of architecture and design decisions, ensuring technical solutions are aligned with business goals. Lead the development process, including design, coding, testing, and deployment, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- System Architecture & Design: Architect and design scalable and efficient systems, improving existing architectures to meet evolving business needs and future growth.
- Full Stack Development: Oversee the development and maintenance of web-based products using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, HTML, and Bootstrap.
- API & Integration Management: Manage the integration of third-party APIs, payment gateways, and SOAP services to ensure seamless data communication across systems.
- Agile & Scrum Practices: Lead the implementation of Agile and Scrum practices within the team, driving efficient project delivery and continuous improvement.
- Code Quality & Maintenance: Ensure the long-term maintainability of the codebase by promoting the use of best practices, conducting regular code reviews, and maintaining a high level of code quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the delivery of well-rounded solutions.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain detailed technical documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- PHP & MySQL Expertise: 6+ years of experience with PHP V7 or V8 and MySQL, including extensive knowledge of PHP MVC frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CakePHP).
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams, with the ability to foster collaboration and high performance.
- Full Stack Development: Knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, HTML, and Bootstrap for full stack development.
- API & Integration: Experience with integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, and SOAP services.
- Version Control: Advanced knowledge of Git for version control and collaborative workflows.
- System Design: Strong ability to understand project specifications, design scalable systems, write clean code, and lead the technical implementation.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Energetic Team Player: A proactive and energetic approach to leadership and team collaboration.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to CRM platforms such as vTiger or similar systems.
- Experience in behavioral healthcare or related industries.
- Advanced knowledge of SOAP integrations and API management.
