Position overview
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to integrate into our expanding team and assume a critical role in advancing the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) footprint within the Dedicated Transportation Sector. This position carries responsibility for the comprehensive, end-to-end lifecycle of RPA solutions, encompassing the development, rigorous testing, deployment, and sustained maintenance of automated processes in strict adherence to our Automation Center of Excellence standards. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced proficiency in UiPath and MS SQL to meticulously analyze complex workflows and deliver robust, scalable solutions. This role mandates close collaboration with the dedicated RPA team and requires the capacity to meticulously evaluate diverse business processes, as well as occasional flexibility to provide after-hours support for critical system requirements.
Position Title: Senior RPA UiPath Developer
Remote LATAM
What you will be doing:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy resilient RPA solutions utilizing UiPath, ensuring strict conformance with enterprise Automation COE standards.
- Spearhead the expansion of the RPA footprint through the creation of new automated processes and the strategic enhancement of existing automations.
- Design, develop, and test complex automation workflows using UiPath Studio, utilizing the Robotic Enterprise Framework (REFramework) to ensure exception handling, logging, and recoverability.
- Manage and configure UiPath Orchestrator resources, including Queues, Assets, Triggers, and Environments, ensuring proper load balancing and license utilization.
- Extend UiPath capabilities by writing custom code (C# or VB.NET) and integrating with third-party applications via REST/SOAP APIs and database connections.
- Generate and diligently maintain comprehensive technical design documentation for all assigned automation projects.
- Engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver automated solutions within a disciplined Agile environment.
- Provide occasional after-hours support to address critical system requirements and ensure operational continuity.
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of pertinent Information Technology experience, with a background in software engineering highly preferred.
- 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on RPA development experience, including process automation, UI automation, data manipulation, and exception handling protocols.
- Advanced proficiency in UiPath Automation Studio, including mastery of selectors, debugging, state machines, and the REFramework.
- Deep understanding of UiPath Orchestrator, including managing multi-bot environments, Modern Folders, and credential management.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS SQL or other Relational Databases, along with an intermediate comprehension of SQL principles.
- Familiarity with C#/.Net, VB, Java, or any core programming language related to UiPath Development.
- Demonstrated experience operating within an Agile development framework, including familiarity with sprint methodologies.
- Proven capability in creating and maintaining detailed technical design documentation for automation processes and system integrations.
- Familiarity with the Kofax Automation tool.
Nice to Have Skills
- A current UiPath Developer certification.
- Exposure to cloud computing concepts and services, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Professional experience or foundational knowledge pertaining to the logistics, transport, and supply chain industry.
