Role Overview
We are seeking a Mid Application Support Analyst to join the Financial Technology (FinTech) team, a shared services organization responsible for delivering technology enablement and project delivery that improves the operational effectiveness of Global Finance and Operations.
This role will work closely with Finance stakeholders, Product Managers, and engineering teams to maintain, configure, and enhance critical financial platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong technical analysis, configuration expertise, SQL proficiency, and production support experience to deliver reliable financial technology solutions.
The position requires strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to support the stability, enhancement, and optimization of enterprise financial systems. 

Key Responsibilities
Financial Systems Configuration & Support
  • Execute configuration changes across financial systems including Emburse, Oracle Fusion Financials, and ChangePoint.

  • Support key Oracle Fusion modules such as:
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Intercompany
    • General Ledger

  • Implement system configuration updates to support financial operations and business requirements.

Data & SQL Operations
  • Develop and execute SQL queries to analyze, validate, and update financial data.
  • Perform database operations including:
    • SELECT queries with joins
    • Data validation queries
    • Updates, Inserts, and Deletes where required.
  • Support data investigation and troubleshooting across financial applications.

Production Support & Issue Resolution
  • Triage and resolve Tier 3 production support tickets.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement configuration fixes.
  • Investigate system defects and collaborate with internal teams to implement durable solutions.
Agile Delivery Support
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Support system testing activities and validate acceptance criteria.
  • Work with Product Managers and Product Leads to deliver bug fixes and system enhancements.
Documentation & Process Governance
  • Document configuration changes, troubleshooting activities, and technical decisions.
  • Follow established change management, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Maintain system documentation and operational runbooks.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve system stability, support processes, and delivery efficiency.
  • Contribute to operational improvements and automation where possible.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience 3+ supporting and configuring Oracle Fusion Financials, preferably across:
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Intercompany
    • General Ledger

  • Intermediate SQL proficiency, including:
    • Writing SELECT statements with joins
    • Performing Updates, Inserts, and Deletes

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications, including issue triage and root cause analysis.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar Agile project management tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities across technical and business teams.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on improving system efficiency and accuracy.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
  • Experience with enterprise financial platforms such as Emburse and ChangePoint.
  • Experience supporting financial operations technology environments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise change management and release processes.
  • Experience working within finance or accounting technology teams.
