Position overview

We’re looking for a Hybrid QA Engineer. As a key member of our fast-growing, US-based software company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will perform both manual and automated testing to guarantee comprehensive test coverage, detect issues early, and support continuous improvement of our software. Working closely with developers, product managers, and support teams, you will identify bugs, improve processes, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet our rigorous standards.

What you will be doing:

  • Design, create, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Perform meticulous manual testing for web applications and APIs to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Identify, clearly document, and track software bugs through to resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
  • Validate new features and functionalities prior to final release.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning sessions and QA reviews to advocate for product quality.
  • Ensure overall product quality, usability, and a seamless user experience.

Requirements & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Mandatory knowledge and hands-on experience with Playwright. The framework is Playwright + TypeScript.
  • Proven experience in QA and software testing, specifically focusing on web applications.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Mandatory knowledge and hands-on experience with Playwright.
  • Significant experience in designing and executing automated testing.
  • Experience with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp).
  • Basic knowledge of APIs and experience with testing tools such as Postman or similar.
  • Familiarity with SQL basics for database querying and data validation.
  • Practical experience working within Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Experience with other automated testing frameworks, such as Selenium.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Effectively interacts with developers, product managers, and support teams to clearly articulate bugs, test results, and quality metrics.
